GENERALITIES:

MANCHESTER MIREX S is an antibacterial insecticide formulated as pellet bait for the control of cutter ants that acts by inhibiting the synthesis of ATP in the organism of insects. Its action is slow (3 to 5 days).

FORM OF APPLICATION AND TIME:

Apply the bait MANCHESTER MIREX S on the sides of the ant trail at a distance of 20 cm at 1 m from the entrance. Never put the antidepressant inside the entrance of the anthill holes to avoid the return or reversal of it. Do not place the product with your hands to avoid loss of effectiveness. Do not apply other insecticides or ants in the combat zone so as not to affect its attraction. The time of control is when the anthills are active, avoiding rainy days or extreme temperatures.

PEST AND DOSE:

Mining ant (Atta sexdens) and Chaco leafcutter ant (Atta vollenweideri): 6-10 gr / m2 of loose soil. • Common black ant (Acromyrmex lundii), Southern black ant (Acromyrmex lobicornis), Red pruner ant (Acromyrmex striatus) and Argentine ant (Iridomyrmex humilis): 6-50 gr per anthill (depending on size).

Exempt as ant killer.

GENERAL PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES:

Dangerous ingestion or inhalation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Use overalls or rubber gloves during handling. Wash all parts of the body exposed to contact with the product with plenty of water and soap. Do not eat, drink, or smoke during use.

ENVIRONMENTAL RISKS:

Toxicity to bees: slightly toxic. Toxicity to birds, fish and aquatic organisms: practically non-toxic.

TREATMENT OF REMNANTS, EMPTY CONTAINERS AND SPILLS:

Treatment of remnants: dispose of in a safe place, avoiding contaminating water sources • Method of destruction of empty containers: render them unusable and incinerate them over a live fire in a place away from homes • Spills: Sweep up and collect carefully, then dispose of.

STORAGE:

Keep in closed original containers, indoors, in a dry and cool place.

FIRST AIDS:

In case of contact with the skin and eyes, wash with plenty of water. If ingested, induce vomiting with Ipeca syrup or perform gastric lavage, then administer activated charcoal and then give a saline or osmotic purgative. Monitor the patient for 72 hours. Continue asymptomatic and recovery treatment.

WARNING FOR HEALTH PERSONNEL:

Products that normally do not offer any danger. Class IV minimal eye irritation.

 

TOXICOLOGICAL COMPATIBILITY:

The product is used alone. Not phytotoxic.
